A life without a story (board), is no life at all!

Welcome back media friends!! So far this weekend has been very productive. Santi and I have been bouncing ideas off of each other on how to make our film opening if we were to start it off with a voice over. Honestly, it took us a while to get a good idea at first but we have finally created the second storyboard so that we could show you guys!!

On my last post, I showed you guys what the film would be like if we were to use establishing shots, so as promised..TADA here’s our second storyboard. Again, keep in mind that we have not come up with the dialogue yet or the type of music incorporated in the scenes so as soon as we come up with that, I will certainly let you guys know!

Voice over pros:  “The voice over is a film technique that is utilized in virtually every film genre. Filmmakers use voice overs to provide quick exposition, tell stories, narrate, and provide an intimate look into the mind of a character.”

We believe that using a voice over, will allow us to demonstrate character development, give the audience 2+2 (read earlier blogs for info), and just give the audience an idea of who the character is and what’s going on in their life.

Like I said, we will be using both establishing and voice over techniques and choose later on in the future. Hope you guys liked it and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let me know!! Remember to stay tuned for tomorrow, I will finally be showing you guys our shooting schedule!!

Peace and love - Vale
